Oct 02.."The Great Slatington Duck Race @ The Gathering"
Saturday, This event will be held again this year as part of The Gathering . Duck boards are currently located at the following locations: Thompson's Meat Market, Hallman's Service Center, Galio's Market, Boyer's Hardware, Susie's Shady Nook Restaurant, Slatington American Legion and Legion Restaurant, Bechtel's Pharmacy in Slatington and Lehigh Township, Home Slate Bar, Blocker's Yamaha/Kawasaki, Neffs Hotel, Donna's Cafe, Diamond Fire Co., Walnutport VFW, Emerald Fire Co., Rextown Supply Co., Slatington Lions Club, Rotary Club of Slatington.
Additional duck boards are available for posting at local businesses. Please help our Slate Heritage Trail project by purchasing Duck Race tickets.
Another one of the most popular events at The Gathering is the Chinese Auction which is held on the Trout Run Covered Bridge. The winners are drawn, announced and posted before the fireworks display.
