November Holidays :  November 11th and November 27th

Tuesday, November 11th, the bank will be closed in observance of Veteran's Day.   Take time today to Remember our Heroes! 

Thursday, November 27th, the bank will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving.  On this special day, Give thanks and enjoy your blessings.

A Quilt top isn't really a quilt until it's sandwiched with batting and backing, quilted or tied, and bound around the edges.  This lost art is hard to come by, but at Union Lutheran Church they still quilt tops by hand, no machines

November 14 & 15 :  Lehigh University Choral Arts Presents "Carmina amoris"

Friday & Saturday, 8:00pm; Held at Baker Hall, Zoellner Arts Center; Celebrating 145 years of singing, the fall concert features director Steven Sametz’s choral symphony "Carmina amoris", a dynamic setting of medieval poems and love letters for orchestra, chorus, tenor and soprano soloists. Featuring Grammy Award-winning soprano Carmen Pelton and Metropolitan Opera tenor William Burden, and Tami Petty, soprano. Steven Sametz, director. Sun Min Lee, associate director.

A reprise performance of this concert will be heard at Carnegie Hall in New York as part of Lehigh’s 150th anniversary celebration of Friday, November 21 at 7:00pm. Tickets available through the Carnegie Hall box office.
