The Neffs National Bank presents $100,000 in donations to nine local educational foundations.

Neffs, Pa- The Neffs National Bank, is proud to present $100,000 in donations to nine local educational foundations. These donations will help fund essential educational programs to benefit the youth of our local community. The selected foundations include Carbon County Community Foundation, Circle of Seasons Foundation, Inc., Commonwealth Charitable Management, Inc. EIO, Lehigh Carbon Community College Foundation, Inc., Northern Lehigh School District Education Foundation, Northwestern Lehigh Educational Foundation, Inc., Parkland School District Education Foundation, Wildlands Conservancy, Inc., and Wildlife Information Center, Inc.

Donations were made through The Neffs National Bank’s participation in the state’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program. This program authorizes tax credits for contributions to Educational Improvement Organizations and allows the bank to earmark their taxes to support these programs.

Many of these organizations have adapted their educational programs to virtual platforms amidst the pandemic through the help of EITC donations. Kevin Schmidt, President/CEO The Neffs National Bank noted “these organizations are continuing to face uncertain times with increased budget constraints and the need to reengineer their education programs. I would encourage local businesses to support these organizations either directly or through participation in the EITC program.”

The Neffs National Bank also continues to support its financial literacy program with financial education partner EVERFI, Inc. through the Commonwealth Charitable Management, Inc. donation. The online, interactive financial education resources are sponsored by The Neffs National Bank and are available to area school districts across Lehigh, Carbon and Northampton counties at no cost to the districts. This year local students also have the opportunity to participate in a nationwide Financial Bee and compete for scholarship prizes.

Excellence In Marketing

In the year 2021 the branding and marketing efforts were refreshed and re branded for a more modern and appealing look. All advertising features our center “N” icon logo for quick and easy recognition. Branding colors were changed to a Red, White and Blue theme to not only convey tradition and trustworthiness but to compliment current brand colors and offer a fresh modern pop. All materials including advertising, in house promotion, in house product information and more were all updated to create one cohesive message and appearance. Our website was redesigned to offer our customers easy to find information in an eye-catching and appealing design and layout. Continuing with our strong branding this new site has been extremely well received. In addition to a branding upgrade, we ramped up social media to be more informative and entertaining to our customers. We encourage engagement by posting fun or “silly” facts and jokes in addition to important bank information and promotion. Lastly, we upgraded our community events by offering better promotional giveaways and opportunities for our customers to support the local community.

The following contains samples of materials for your review.

The NEW Neffsnatl.com

The center piece of re-branding is the complete redesign of our website. This new website reorganized menu items and focused on making important information easier to find. It broke down what items were important to our customers and prioritized their placement on the site. We switched our color scheme to red, white and blue, which are typically associated with time honored tradition, trustworthiness, and longevity. By using a deep read, and a brighter blue then the traditional "Red, white and blue" scheme we kept the look modern and fresh. Please click below to visit some of our most popular pages.
