Neffs, Pa- The Neffs National Bank, is proud to present $100,000 in donations to six local educational foundations. These donations will help fund essential educational programs to benefit the youth of our local community. The selected foundations include Northern Lehigh School District Education Foundation, Parkland School District Education Foundation, Northwestern Lehigh Educational Foundation, Inc.,  Wildlands Conservancy, Inc., Wildlife Information Center, Inc., Circle of Seasons Foundation, Inc. The Lehigh Valley Zoological Society, and The Parkland Community Library.  

Donations were made through The Neffs National Bank’s participation in the state’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program. This program authorizes tax credits for contributions to Educational Improvement Organizations and allows the bank to earmark their taxes to support these programs.

Since the bank began their participation in the EITC program, they have contributed $1,400,000 to various educational foundations. Kevin Schmidt, President/CEO The Neffs National Bank noted “these organizations are continuing to face uncertain times with increased budget constraints and the need to reengineer their education programs. I would encourage local businesses to support these organizations either directly or through participation in the EITC program.”
