The Neffs National Bank contributes $100,000 in donations to seven local education foundations through the state's EITC program.
The Neffs National Bank, is proud to present $100,000 in donations to six local educational foundations. These donations will help fund essential educational programs to benefit the youth of our local community.
The selected foundations include Northern Lehigh School District Education Foundation, Northwestern Lehigh Educational Foundation, Inc., Parkland School District Education Foundation, Wildlands Conservancy, Inc., Wildlife Information Center, Inc., and Circle of Seasons Foundation.
Donations were made through The Neffs National Bank’s participation in the state’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program. This program authorizes tax credits for contributions to Educational Improvement Organizations and allows the bank to earmark their taxes to support these programs.

The Neffs National Bank Employees Enjoy A Festive Holiday Spirit Week
The Neffs National Bank employees participated in Holiday Spirit Week December 18-December 22nd. Themes included Merry Monday, Jolly Tuesday, Wacky Wednesday, Santa's Helpers Thursday, and Fa La La La La Flannel Friday. Customers were encouraged to match that day's Holiday Spirit for a free gift. Gifts varied throughout the week. Throughout the week individually wrapped Christmas cookies and special limited 100th Anniversary Christmas Ornaments were also available.

The Neffs National Bank Collects 16 Boxes Full of Toys for Toys For Tots
The Neffs National Bank is proud to be a designated drop off location for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Drive. From November 1st through December 15th, The Neffs National Bank, its board, employees, customers, and local community filled 15.5 boxes of toys for the Toys for Tots Drive. This year the need for contributions was at an all-time high with a local goal of reaching 100,000 toys.
“For the past 11 years we’ve been proud to be a part of such an impactful program. The response from our local community has been overwhelming and we are so thankful for their support. This year we raised a record high of 15.5 boxes of toys*, games, and books plus 3 bicycles.” said Kevin Schmidt, President/CEO of The Neffs National Bank. “We have been told that we are one of the largest collection sites in the Lehigh Valley and we look forward to assisting every year. We have high hopes that next year, our 12th year of participating in Toys for Tots, we will be able to beat this year’s record.”
Donations made local, stay local. According to the Toys for Tots Allentown drive web page, last year 119,645 toys were distributed and 27,000 children were supported in the Allentown/Lehigh Valley area.
*An additional half of a box of toys trickled in after the designated collection time.
